With the greetings the New Year, Bengali Association of Minnesota cordially invites you to the Saraswati Puja and Satsang to be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2012 at the Hindu Temple located at: 10530 Troy Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55311.

Following are the subscription rates :
Adults and Children (Age 12 and above) : $12.00
Children (5 - 12 years) : $5.00
Kids (< 5 years) : Free

The subscription will be collected at the gate, but if you would like to make the payment in advance, we would be more than happy to accept it. For such cases please send your checks (payable to BENGALI ASSOCIATION OF MINNESOTA) to the following address -

As we are expecting large turnout both at the Puja and at Satsang, we need volunteers to help out on various tasks, identified as below -

• Prepare food at the Temple Kitchen
• Prepare bhog/sandesh/sweets for Puja at home
• Prepare tarkari/chutney for Satsang at home
• Serve food during Satsang
• Puja preparation and organization

Updated schedule::

7:30AM: Gate opens
7:30AM: Cooking preparation starts.

Note: Snacks will be arranged for the volunteers who arrive in the morning to help prepare the food for Satsang. Please send your name if you wish to come early and help us out, so that we can get the appropriate headcount.

10:00AM: Start preparing Prasad for the Puja
11:00AM: Protima pratistha and decoration
11:30AM: Start serving food to the Satsang attendees
12:00PM: Puja starts
12:30PM: Final anjali (No more anjali after this)
12:40PM: Shantijal and Prasad
1:00PM - 2:00PM: BAM Annual General Body Meeting
2:00PM - 3:30PM: Lunch
3:30PM - 4:00PM: Wrap-Up

We will have Khichuri, Cabbage curry, Puri, Aloo dum, Chutney, Papad and Mohan bhog at the Satsang and lunch.
